Although traditionally vehicles were predominantly fuel and engine-powered, modern vehicles integrate a lot of complex electrical components and facilities. Therefore vehicles are very often a high source of electromagnetic fields. For example, due to the fact that cars run on 12v wiring without negative and positive cables running together, a large magnetic field is created between the space of the two cables. Furthermore, a lot of modern cars have Bluetooth, wifi and mobile communication devices installed. They also often have interior lighting and screens that emit a high amount of blue light. This database compares many different types of vehicles, the EMF readings they emit, and the type of electromagnetic fields that they produce. It also records whether these cars have an LCD screen and if it can be turned off or not. If there's a particular type of vehicle that you would like to see reviewed please send us a message.
